Design your own drums with Ableton Live’s Drum Synths
Grasp total control of your drum kit.
It can be far too easy to dive into your samples folder when looking for that next drum part. There’s nothing wrong with that per se, but you might find it more enjoyable and intriguing to design your own drum sounds. Using Ableton Live’s various Drum Synth devices, you can easily do just that.
In this Ableton Live Tutorial, Liam O’Mullane shows you how to use the various Drum Synths in Ableton Live. You’ll learn what each Drum Synth does and how you can shape each of their sounds. You’ll learn how to use them in a Drum Rack to create an electronic drum kit and how to layer it with acoustic drum sounds and tune them to perfection.
