Creating and recording parts with Chord in Ableton Live
Learn how to make the most out of Chord and capture different structures to spark new ideas.
Not everyone is a well-versed keyboard player, so creating a chord progression can take some time – especially if you’re working with a laptop keyboard. If this sounds like you, you’ll probably benefit from Ableton Live‘s Chord MIDI Effect. This is a handy feature that lets you deploy full chords at will using just one note.
In this Ableton Live Tutorial, our Ableton Live expert Liam O’Mullane shows you how to easily experiment with Chord and spark new ideas. He’ll also show you a quick way to record different chord structures and play them back in a sequence that could give you a rough idea of an entire arrangement.
