How to group tracks in Logic Pro X for faster editing and mixing
Once you start using Groups, you’ll never go back.
Logic Pro Tips Hero Using Groups
If you’re constantly selecting multiple tracks when editing in Logic, thinking there must be a better way, you’re right. The solution is using Groups. By assigning multiple tracks to a group, you’re able to control them collectively from a single track.
For mixing, Groups are arguably even more useful. Want to turn up the drums but keep the relationship between kick and snare? Try assigning you tracks to a Group.
In this Logic Tips video, Jono Buchanan explains and shows you how to set up Groups and goes through the settings appropriate for multitrack audio editing and mixing.
