How to remove spill from your recordings in Logic Pro 10.5

Want more control over your audio clips? Of course you do. Maybe you want to remove unwanted noise from a drum take or an audio recording. The first option might be applying a gate, but that might not always completely remove the unwanted artefacts. What about slicing out the unwanted sounds from the audio region?
