Eris E7 XT builds on a well-loved series of entry-level studio monitors, squeezing itself in between the E8 XT and E5 XT models.

“Eris E7 XT, is just right for moderate-size and some mid-large studio spaces”, PreSonus says, sporting a 7-inch woofer and 1.25-inch silk dome tweeter. The sound E7 XT producers is far richer and more powerful than that of its younger siblings, and featuring the same 140W of Class AB bi-amped power as its bigger brother, E8 XT. The loudspeaker reaches down to 42Hz thanks to the ported enclosure, designed to maximise base in a compact cabinet.

Following the footsteps of the rest of the family, the E7 XT is built with PreSonus’ custom Elliptically Boundary Modeled waveguide. This provides a clear and accuratePreSonus E7 XT sound across a 100 degree horizontal ‘sweet spot’, with a focused 60 degree in the vertical dispersion to minimise desk reflections.

Sound shaping functions are available on the monitors, with a low-cut, mid and high controls. Three-way acoustic space tuning lets you compensate for a room that doesn’t quite offer optimum speaker placement. XLR, TRS and RCA connections are on offer for a flexible set-up.

“Suitable for both home recording studios and professional mix engineering, the Eris XT studio monitors combine sterling audio quality with the flexible tuning and connectivity you’ve come to expect from PreSonus. It’s Eris, remastered” PreSonus states.

PreSonus Eris E7 XT is available now at a price of $229 from PreSonus dealers. Find out more at presonus.com
