What exactly is Polyend up to?
“We’re teasing! More information in March. Can’t wait to show you THIS!”
“Soon, everything will be on the right track”, claims Polyend on the front page of its website. Several teaser videos have surfaced over the last couple of weeks, with a new video uploaded today showing another sneak preview of what appears to be a new sampler.
While we’ve still not been given a full look at the new device, Polyend have sneakily thrown in a frame at the end to fuel the synth community’s speculations. Albeit blurry, it’s apparent that Polyend has used inspiration from its previous synths, namely the pads from instruments like Medusa. From the other videos the brand has uploaded, we can also see that the device sports a thin design, but champions a large dial, potentially making it an instrument designed with portability in mind.
“We like this game, do you? 😉 And yes, it can handle MIDI too. The 18th of March is the date”, Polyend state in the description of the video above. Naturally, we can assume to see more teasing as we close in on the 18 March announcement date. No doubt this will be a big release for Polyend leading up to Superbooth in April this year.
