Tom Wolfe’s Novus packs 100 cinematic presets for Massive X
This new soundbank packs gritty, sharp sounds ideal for film, game and media composers
Tom Wolfe, the sound designer behind the Premier Collection, has released Novus, an affordable cinematic soundbank for Massive X.
Novus boasts 100 cinematic-style presets, harnessing the power of Native Instruments‘ flagship wavetable synth. You’ll get tension-rising sequences, abrasive pads and plenty more sharp, gritty sounds. Check out some of the examples below.
Although the presets sound complex, Tom Wolfe has implemented a range of macro and modulation options for easy manipulation and full control. Each preset has been categorised by style for easy access in the Massive X browser, too.
In a press release, Tom Wolfe says: “Whether you’re a film or media composer looking to add some aggression to your cues, or an electronic producer seeking some cinematic flair, this set could be what you’ve been waiting for.”
To celebrate the release of Novus, Tom Wolfe is offering an introductory price until 17 February 2021. The soundbank is available now for £15, moving up to £20 thereafter.
