If you’ve ever wanted the dulcet, silky smooth tones of legendary funk master Nile Rodgers to read you a bedtime story, you’re in luck this Christmas season.

Rodgers has recorded a reading of Story For Sleep: A Peaceful Winter Night for Apple’s From Apple Music With Love Christmas campaign, and the Spatial Audio-enhanced reading will be sure to rock you gently to sleep on a cold winter night.

The six-track audiobook runs for 39 minutes, so you might not be able to finish it all at one go, but that’s why it’s conveniently split up into tracks.

Apple Music members can look forward to more content under the From Apple Music With Love campaign soon, with the first ‘present’ being an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of Elton John’s Lockdown Sessions album. This includes the FaceTime conversations John had with his album collaborators, including Stevie Nicks, Eddie Vedder, Miley Cyrus, Charlie Puth, and Brandi Carlile.

Nile Rodgers recently gave an interview where he offered to finish the tracks he and Avicii wrote together before the unfortunate passing of the talented young producer. While he would only undertake the task if Avicii’s family gave their blessing, Rodgers has said he would not touch any music he had not personally worked on with Avicii.
