Groovemaster One is designed to make it easy to create percussion parts that feel genuine. It comes with 30 different preset styles, with Combi and Solo styles across shaker, clap, tambourine and one-shot shaker sounds. Everything stays in sync with your DAW, which should make it a breeze to audition different patterns on the fly.
Nine different mix presets are on board to help you find a tone that will fit nicely with the rest of your project. A reverb engine will let give your percussion some space, with an amount dial and four ambience presets to choose from.
You can use the MIDI drag-and-drop function to transfer patterns to other instruments, or play the instruments yourself with input from MIDI events or a MIDI controller.
Groovemaster One is the first in a new series of virtual percussion plug-ins. The plug-in builds on the legacy of Ujam’s accomplished Beatmaker 2, which regularly receives new expansions for a range of different genres.
Ujam’s Groovemaster One is available now at an affordable price of $9/€9 until 9 May, moving up to $19/€19 thereafter. It’s compatible with major DAWs in VST, AU and AAX formats and is available to try for free as a 30-day trial.
