Electronic music veteran Amon Tobin and Nomark Records are giving producers the sounds of Tobin’s bass-heavy Two Fingers project.
Released on Gumroad, the sample pack comprises a variety of pads, big bass tones and phrases, lead sounds, sound effects, synth loops, percussion and more. The sounds have been created and captured with analogue gear and “esoteric DSP processing”, Nomark says.
The exact gear the Brazilian producer used for this sample pack is a mystery, but his impressive collection may allude to some rare finds. Combine this with his ability to craft unique sounds and you may find yourself tempted to try the samples for yourself.
Amon Tobin has recently been uploading videos to his YouTube channel that detail the gear he uses and the studio he works in. You’ll see some desirable studio items in these videos, including a Neve 500 Series rack.
This is the third sample pack from Amon Tobin that’s available on Gumroad, so Nomark is offering all three packs in a bundle until 27 March 2021. Until that date, you’ll be able to pick up all three sample packs for $100, moving up to $120 thereafter.
Amon Tobin’s Two Fingers pack is available on its own for $40. “These aren’t your daddy’s Serum patches, kids”, he says of the pack.
