Learn how to instantly make beats with Cubase’s Groove Agent SE
Lay down a groove with Cubase’s stock drum machine.
Now that we’ve learned how to use Cubase’s Drum Editor to create sequences, it’s time to start creating our drum kit. Happily, Cubase’s stock drum machine, Groove Agent SE, is filled with easy-to-use features to help you dial in your desired drum sounds. Plus, it can seamlessly integrate into your session with a drag-and-drop approach to making new patterns.
In this Cubase Tutorial, Bruce Aisher gives you an introduction to Groove Agent SE, showing you how to access different drum sounds and programme patterns within the instrument. You’ll also learn how to customise the instrument and load new drum sounds, as well as dragging patterns into your arrangement as MIDI data.
We’re starting off with the basics and gradually move into more advanced and creative techniques, as in our Logic Tips and Ableton Live Tutorials series. Subscribe to our newsletter and YouTube Channel for weekly updates on new videos and content.
