Ethnic Deep is a percussive, minimal house pack that takes its influences from artists such as Mark Alow, So Inagawa and Toman. There are simple clap, hi-hat, kick and shaker loops, alongside lovely mellow synths, gritty textures and lively percussion loops. The patterns and processing are quite basic and, unfortunately, some samples have quite a high noise floor.

Luckily, however, the sounds themselves are warm and solid, coming from a range of analogue and digital synths and drum machines. Alongside the loop folder, there are 10 well-written if repetitive construction kits. The percussive loops are arguably the best thing about this pack, along with the warm kick, bass and synth loops. But basic programming and noisy production let some of the others down.
