Softube’s Statement Lead is a no-nonsense synth with an “analogue feel”

Softube has launched Statement Lead, a no-nonsense polyphonic synth with an easy-to-navigate interface. According to the brand, this lead synth was designed especially for producers of EDM, drum and bass, and house.
Like its software sibling, Monoment Bass, this instrument gets its sounds from real-life pieces of gear – “rare and expensive hardware synths,” according to Softube, which have been processed so they’re ready to go in your production.
It gives you 90 sound sources to perform with individually, or blended together. If you’re looking to get a dirtier, more unpredictable sound, akin to something you might hear from a pre-loved synth, you can also turn up on the Aging parameter and engage the Analog Dirt feature. For even more vintage-authenticity, there’s also an analogue-style filter and auto glide function.
A host of effects come built-in with Statement Lead, including drive, reverb, delay, multi-band compression, and spatialisation. For a quick start, Softube has packed in over 150 curated presets.
