RØDE releases 2.0 firmware update for RØDECaster Pro
Over 25 new features for the standalone podcasting studio and its companion app.

RØDE has released a 2.0 firmware update for the RØDECaster Pro, its standalone podcast production studio. Although the device already received a boost this year with the addition of multitrack recording, v2.0 promises to open up more possibilities with over 25 powerful new features.
According to RØDE, the new features were finalised after months of feedback-collection and testing. They’re intended to smooth your path towards great-sounding podcasts. One feature that’s designed to make production easier is Podcast Transfer Mode, which lets you transfer podcast files to a computer directly from the RØDECaster Pro.
Other notable updates include improved save settings – which lets you save/load shows via the device’s companion app – new sound pad functionality and new professional-grade broadcast features. The last of these includes a pre-fade listen mode plus the ability to chat off-air with callers via USB, Smartphone and Bluetooth channels.
