Point Blank’s latest studio tech overview finds DJ Ravine and Dave Clark – the brains behind Digital and Vinyl Expert – checking out the upgrades on Native Instruments’ Traktor Kontrol S4 MK3.
One of the main improvements they discuss is the controller’s new motorised jog wheels, which offer haptic feedback. This provides users with the ability to spin, stop and nudge like they would on real vinyl. Other upgrades they cover include new input/output options, two hi-res screens and the controller’s ability to double up as an external mixer for turntables or CDJs.
