Internet Co. launches MS EQ Comp VST plug-in
Tweak stereo properties, shape instrument signals’ Mid/Sides.
by Daniel Ong

Japanese developer Internet Co. – the same brand behind Sound it! and F-REX – has unveiled the MS EQ Comp, which first made an appearance as a free offering last June.
As its name suggests, this VST plug-in encodes standard stereo signals to middle and side frequencies. You can then add compressor and EQ effects to each channel, as well as adjust volume and pan settings. The signal is then automatically converted back to left/right stereo for monitoring purposes.
This is a particularly handy tool for applying processing to the middle or side signals, tweaking the ambience of a track and more.
Available for Windows and Mac at $29. More information at internetmusicsoft.com.
