Improve live vocals with Antares’ Auto-Tune Artist
Plug-in provides real-time, low-latency vocal processing.

Antares has released Auto-Tune Artist, a vocal processing plug-in that replaces the brand’s Auto-Tune Live. As its name suggests, the new plug-in is optimised for low-latency processing on stage and in the studio.
At the core of Auto-Tune Artist is a revamped interface that’s made to be more immediate. You’ll get to choose between two view modes: Basic and Advanced. Basic is designed to make it easier to access popular auto-tune features, while Advanced puts you within reach of MIDI, scale editing and vibrato tools.
Features specific to pitch-correction include Flex-Tune, Humanize and Retune Speed. The former two are said to give you a perfectly in-tune and transparent vocal, while Retune Speed gives you Antares’ iconic pitch quantisation effect.
Last but not least, Antares has made the Auto-Tune 5 sound accessible via a Classic Mode. This particular sound, according to the brand, was included after a large volume of requests.
Auto-Tune Artist is available now on PC and Mac, and in VST/AU/AAX. The plug-in retails at $299, with paid upgrade options also available for registered users.
