Analogue Solutions brings back the Colossus for a fourth production run
It pays homage to vintage synth systems such as the EMS Synthi 100 and ARP 2500.

Analogue Solutions has announced the fourth production run for its complete analogue synthesis system, Colossus.
Colossus pays homage to vintage systems such as the EMS Synthi 100 and ARP 2500 – though it’s not a recreation of either one in particular. Instead, it features circuits designed by Analogue Solutions, featuring designs from some of its back catalogue. If you own a Polymath, Telemark or Vostok, you might just find something familiar here.
The system includes twelve oscillators with multi-vernier knobs, twelve VCAs, eight filters (four LPF and 4 multi-mode) with dedicated envelopes. There are dual 64-step sequencers, two spring reverbs, ring modulators, a built-in oscilloscope and more.
Colossus also features no USB or MIDI connectivity, a design choice that obviously stems from the accordance to old school synth sensibilities. While this might turn some off, some die-hard synth fans will ultimately appreciate the decision.

Like previous production runs, each Colossus features hardwood panels, a metal case and is made to order. Each is priced at a whopping £25,000.
