We’ve known it´s been in the works for some time and today we are very pleased to announce that Rob Papen Blue II is now available!

Blue first delivered FM and subtractive synthesis plus Phase Distortion and wave shaping synthesis to create one seriously creative combination. Rob Papen himself called it ‘Crossfusion synthesis’ since it covered extensive musical ground so effectively. Blue II continues this ethos but with a whole host of powerful new features…

Six oscillators which can be connected in various ways
Two analogue-style modelled stereo filters with 27 different filter types
Four top-quality FX processors, each offering 35 FX types
An enormous range of processing and modulation options
Sequencer and an incredibly powerful arpeggiator.

Rob Papen has also meticulously fashioned a new range of specially selected waveforms for creating new synth sounds – choirs and strings are in abundance and much more besides!

Finally, Blue II also sees the addition of the XY Pad, originally seen in Papen´s additive synthesis powerhouse Blade, this feature is perfect for time-based sound movements and vector pad-type sounds.
