Expert Sleepers to launch ES-9 modular audio interface at SynthFest UK
Continuing on from the ES-8, the Eurorack module might be the perfect solution for integrating a modular synth with a laptop or tablet.

On 5 October at SynthFest, Expert Sleepers will officially be launching their ES-9 module, a Eurorack 16-in/16-out USB-C audio interface, with DC-coupled inputs and outputs that can be used for both audio and CVs.
The module is designed to simplify the process of getting modular recordings into a computer or iPad, without the need for a hardware mixer. It features balanced quarter-inch main outputs and a headphone socket, making it a viable option for both studio and live environments.
With 14 analogue inputs, the ES-9 is capable of simultaneous tracking or mixing or a large number of sound sources in a modular rack. The 8 DC-coupled outputs are designed to control the modular with MAX/MSP, Ableton’s CV Tools, Bitwig Studio, Silent Way, and any similar software. The outputs can also be used to send audio out to the modular rack for processing. The ES-9 can be expanded with Expert Sleeper’s ES-5 modules, allowing up to 48 more outputs.
ES-9 will be launched 5 October at £499. Find out more at expert-sleepers.co.uk
