NAMM 2020: Denon DJ’s Prime range expands with Prime 2 and Prime Go all-in-one controllers. Featuring touchscreen interfaces, the smart DJ consoles are set to be ideal for the creative mobile DJ, powered by Denon DJ’s Engine OS platform.

The compact Prime GO controller is designed to be a pro-grade DJ solution that will fit in your backpack. With a seven-inch HD touchscreen, the console runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides up to four hours of unplugged performances. In true 21st century fashion, Prime GO sports built-in wifi and wired internet connectivity for streaming music from Beatport, Beatsource, SoundCloud and TIDAL.

Prime 2 also boasts a seven-inch HD touchscreen and music streaming capabilities, the same as its compact sibling. The Prime 2 delivers multicore-powered standalone performance and portablility, with the ability to access and playback digital files from multiple media sources, including a built-in HDD bay.

Running on Engine OS, the Prime consoles employ a pro-grade timestretch and key-shift algorithm and playback of uncompressed, lossless audio. Onboard music management with track preview, file analysis and direct to access media source set recording allows for a creative workflow.
