Beatchain launches platform to assist artists in their career progression
The AI-assisted service is designed to connect musicians to fans, share their work and earn money from their music.
Some of us are all too familiar with the struggle of having our music heard as an artist, especially with such a vast, ever-expanding universe of new music available at the touch of a phone screen. Beatchain is an app that is designed to combat this issue, using AI to help artists “take control of their careers”, the company says. The app has now announced its launch, with three price plans on offer.
Beatchain is an app that handles all marketing tasks in one singular platform. This includes distribution, email lists, social media management and more, touted by the Founder, Ben Mendoza as a “portal to the whole of the music industry”. We spoke to Ben and the company in detail back in April about its conception and how it works, which you can read here.
Three pricing levels are available to budding artists:
- Basic – a free plan that offers insights, access to Beatchain’s Launchpad and three distributions per month
- Premium – costing £14.99 per month that offers the same as Basic, but with unlimited distributions, a website builder, three hyperlinks and 10 email campaigns per month
- Superstar – costing £19.99 per month offers an unlimited amount of all of the above, plus custom domain names in the website builder.
“Too many artists are seeing music streaming as a talent show where they upload one song to Spotify with zero promotion, and suddenly they’re being signed to a label or played on the radio,” says Ben Mendoza. “Unfortunately that’s not how the music industry works in the streaming era. To get heard above the noise, you need the complete set of tools to grow and engage your fanbase, get them hyped for your new release, and then direct them again and again to your music, your shows and your merchandise. The unique thing about Beatchain is that you can do all this with one platform, without the artist needing to become an expert marketer or music promoter.”
“We’re firm believers that if you’re a talented artist and you take your music career seriously, then so will everyone else. Beatchain is here to help you demonstrate that,” adds Mendoza.
