Veteran of the UK bassline and organ house scene Paul Sirrell has put together this new pack from Loopmasters, with over 1.8GB-worth of 24-bit audio in a range of formats. For the most part, you’ve heard it all before, with jackin’ beats, M1 piano stabs, organ bass riffs and a small handful of slightly more interesting synth and instrument loops.
Thankfully, MIDI loops are also included, so you have the potential to experiment with some more unique sounds of your own, alongside a bunch of presets for Serum and Sylenth. There’s a massive amount of material here, including some useful one-shot bass and FX sounds, although it’s all a bit same-y. If you’re after a large toolkit to write a chart, piano-house banger, then this will be right up your street. You may need to get creative if you want it to sound original, though.
