Continuing to innovate music creation on-the-go Roland has introduced GO: Mixer, which they describe as a compact audio mixer for smartphone video production…
The GO: Mixer, which is compatible with iOS and Android, connects digitally via an included cable and promises clear stereo sound that Roland are confident will beat any phone’s in-built mono mic or analog line input. Each of the five inputs can be used to connect a mic, musical instrument and even media players and mix them all together live while you shoot.
GO: Mixer also features two stereo line-level inputs as well as front-panel knobs for hands-on mixing and a stereo output jack for monitoring via headphones or external amp. One of the line level inputs also offers a selectable Center Cancel function, which reduces the volume of the main vocal in a track that’s playing through the input.
Roland has yet to offer any release date for GO: Mixer but we’ve been informed it will cost less than $100 when it does come out. Head to the product page here for full info.
