FabFilter releases Pro-series plug-ins for iPad
The Dutch company’s plug-ins are now compatible with more iPad DAWs.
The iOS plug-in format AUv3 has proved a popular choice for developers in recent years. Now FabFilter has followed suit by introducing AUv3 versions of its Pro plug-ins – including Pro-Q 3, Pro-MB, Pro-L 2, Pro-R and more – and making them compatible with multiple iPad DAWs.
Previously, FabFilter’s plug-ins could only be hosted in WaveMachine Labs’ Auria DAW. With AUv3 in the offing, the Dutch brand’s tools can now be used in any AUv3-compatible host, including GarageBand, Cubasis, AUM and n-Track Pro.
To ensure that its plug-ins are optimised to their new hosts, FabFilter has modified their interfaces. According to the brand, the plug-ins’ interfaces now boast better touch behaviour and can adapt to different screen sizes.
The AUv3 Pro plug-ins can be purchased as a bundle at $129.99. Alternatively, you can get each plug-in individually at these prices.
