Focusrite have recently announced that the Clarett range of Thunderbolt Interfaces are now compatible with PCs after the release of the Clarett Windows driver.
With the arrival of the new driver Focusrite claim that Windows users can now experience identical functionality to that experienced on Mac, promising a super-low latency rate and superior sound quality. If these claims hold water it means that users can now “record and monitor whilst using their favourite plug-ins in real time, as well as other DAW workflow benefits”.
The driver supports Focusrite Control, Thunderbolt connectivity via Display Port for all Clarett Interfaces and is compatible with the latest 64-bit updates of Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
