Point Blank to helm industry panel discussion at upcoming open day
The event celebrates the music school’s new industry management degree.

To celebrate the launch of their bachelor’s course in music industry management, Point Blank will be hosting an open day on 1 July at its London studios. The event’s highlight is a panel discussion on the music industry’s current affairs.
Titled ‘Future of the industry’, the discussion will cover important topics like artist management, record labels, A&R and IP/copyright. The conversations will be helmed by Point Blank’s head of education and development Ski Oakenfull, lead course developer Jen Anderson as well as programme leader Lee Erinmez.
Point Blank will also enlist the help of A&R specialist Alex Close, whose resume includes work with Warner and Universal, and Kwame Kwaten from the Music Manager’s Forum.
The music school’s BA (Hons) Music Industry Management Degree course is now enrolling for classes starting in September 2019. In that month, Point Blank will also be opening the doors to its China campus.
Applicants interested in the BA course can confirm their spot at the open day here. And for other courses, head over to pointblankmusicschool.com.
