Once you’ve loaded up a virtual instrument in FL Studio, you’ll probably record some MIDI notes. But what happens if you play the wrong note? There’s no need to record from scratch. Using the Piano Roll, you can input new notes into a region, adjust existing notes and even change up the playing style on-the-fly.

In this FL Studio Tips tutorial, MusicTech expert Max Venus tells you everything you need to know about the Piano Roll. Learn how to add notes, slide notes, arpeggios and strummed notes to your MIDI instruments, and how to save and load scores and MIDI data. You’ll also learn how to navigate the Piano Roll with a ton of shortcuts.
