Vital Vocals is a label that aims to provide full vocal tracks in a range of styles for modern productions. The latest is Bigroom Dance Hooks, which contains five female-vocal song kits inspired by big-room dance acts such as Martin Garrix, Hardwell and more, with 57 main stems in WAV or Apple Loops format, plus 120 REX files.
The songs themselves are well written and performed, with some layered harmonies and ad libs, although we found the occasional phrase lacked clarity. We also found some to have a little too much room sound, so in need of EQ to make them feel more upfront. There’s also inconsistency between kits, where some songs have wet versions for every stem, and others only have a wet version for the full song mix. These points aside, this could be a great opportunity to experiment with mixing full vocals.
