Contact UNDRGRND Sounds

Redlight is a synth-based Kontakt instrument with over 60 analogue and digital sound sources covering fat and warm bass sounds, resonant and characterful leads and plenty of classic dance-music chords. You get one Kontakt instrument that unpacks to 3.05GB and 139 excellent, production-ready Snapshot presets. The main page features two sample layers that can be independently processed via a decent FX section and basic mod matrix.

Although this includes a large collection of superb and creative impulse responses, you can only select categories and then scroll through one by one, which makes browsing a pain. There’s also an arp and a sequencer with nine lanes for the main parameters, plus some useful programming functions and a random button. The sound editing is a little limited and the oscillator wave options aren’t huge compared to some other instruments, but the quality and variety means you can achieve great results fast.
