Mind Flux is a London-based sound design and production studio that also specialises in making affordable techno sample and preset packs. It’s latest bite-sized collection is Rolling Dark Techno and contains 190MB of 24-bit audio in WAV format.
A large range of different kit was used to create the loops, including classic synths and drum machines from Roland, Moog and Access, with further processing via Neve and SSL that comes across in the beefy-sounding production.
Everything is divided into folders of heavy beats with breakout parts, fat, filtered bass riffs, dark and dubby synths and some atmospheric textures, FX, glitch and vox loops. Although it’s not a massive pack, and you won’t find everything that you need to make a finished techno track, there are plenty of well-designed, useful sounds here that will help bolster your productions.
