ModeAudio is in a relaxed mood with its latest pack, a serene selection of piano-based melodies and ambiences. The core of the library is a folder of delicate and haunting piano riffs and chords, which is accompanied by tuned percussion and strings, shimmering melodic ambiences and field-recording textures.
The pianos are thoughtfully performed and everything has a subtlety to it that makes it especially suitable for soundtrack work. Elsewhere, there are 12 organic-sounding drum beats with constituent parts, which we could take or leave, as well as a folder of tail samples to help your loops come to a smooth end. Although the instrument sounds are excellent and mixed well, you also get MIDI files so that you can experiment with your own library.
