This new pack from Loopmasters features nine folders of deep and soulful female vocal phrases. Its almost 500 audio files are made up of 101 clean phrases, plus multiple effected versions that include a mix of dark filters, dubbed-out echoes, twisted octave effects and massive reverbs.
All sounds were mastered and manipulated by producer Dubmatix at Renegade Studios using effects by SoundToys, Roland, Valhalla and more. The vocals are well sung and boast an upfront sound. But it feels like there’s some aggressive gating going on, which means that most of the breath sounds have been removed and some tails cut short. The samples could work as nice short hooks in a track but you’ll have to do some mixing and matching to build up longer phrases.
