This bite-sized pack from Loopmasters features 50 acoustic and electric guitar blues riffs performed and recorded by session musician Chris Barnes. You’ll find 80MB of 24-bit audio, presented across three folders that cover acoustic loops at 72bpm, clean electric loops at 108bpm, and crunchier distorted riffs at 88bpm. The performances are excellent throughout, bolstered by tight and crisp sounds. There’s a distinct lack of reverb and other effects, which gives users the flexibility to augment these loops with their own.

That said, it might have been nice to hear some of these loops given a little more character through processing. If you’re looking for an efficient way to add some live blues guitar playing to your tracks, you’ll find this a well-focused collection, packed with short loops that can be combined to build longer performances.
