Loopmasters has teamed up with Jungle Drummer once again, for a pack of live, new-school jazz and breakbeat drum loops. The content is comprised of the drum parts for the recently released Extinction Point London – Wake Up! EP, with 563 loops in total that are spread across eight folders. These range from simple and soulful 70 bpm beats, through faster and more complex jazzy patterns, up to some blistering 170 bpm jungle workouts.
There are also two folders in 5/4 time. We found some of the production to be a little raw and the EQ on loops in some folders was a quite sharp. If you’re after super tight and produced live drums, then you may want to look elsewhere. However, the performances are bristling with energy and there’s plenty of variety.
