This broad new course from FaderPro is split into two parts and sees veteran house producer Eddie Thoneick creating a heavy house beat and a melodic vocal track across 18 chapters. The first part includes drum production and covers some sensational effects-programming tricks, with the second part dedicated to building a progressive backing track then tidying and processing the vocals.
Although the course is taught in Cubase, Thoneick uses a lot of third-party plug-ins by the likes of iZotope, SoundToys and Waves, plus ReVoice Pro, so you should find the techniques therein fairly transferable. The two halves of the course are quite different in musical style but they cover a lot of useful ground. The extra explanations and insights, combined with Thoneick’s contagious passion for the music he’s making, make this an enjoyable watch.
