zplane.development has recently unveiled their new deCoda software, designed to perform automatic song transcriptions for ease of learning.

deCoda features a drag-and-drop functionality that allows users to select their desired song and have the software automatically recognise and map the chords, song structure and tempo. Song keys can then be instantly transposed and pitch can be adjusted either up or down by a whole octave.

With the deCoda, users can lower the song’s tempo to accommodate slow starts and increase it as they gain proficiency. A focus EQ tool can also be used to isolate parts of the audio spectrum based on the frequency and panning information.

Other features of the deCoda include flexible looping options and exportable MIDI for use in DAWs. The software is available on both Mac and Windows, and its GUI is designed with touch interfaces in mind.

The zplane deCoda is now available at a special price of €29 (usual price €49). For more information, click here.
