Win an Audio-Technica home recording setup in our Weekend Workshop

MusicTech has teamed up with Audio-Technica to give you the opportunity to win a home recording setup as part of our Weekend Workshop series.
Last week, our challenge was to create a new, inspiring drum kit using sounds found around the house. The competition winner was Luis Valoyes, who used sounds from his bathroom to make a lo-fi drum kit.
Fancy your chances? This week’s Weekend Workshop involves creating an entire track with just one sample. Check out the workshop here and then submit your sounds to the MusicTech Creator Community Facebook Group and you’ll be entered into the draw for an amazing Audio-Technica prize bundle worth £375.
How to enter
- Upload the music you make from the Weekend Workshop and make it public on your preferred platform
- Join our MusicTech Creator Community Facebook Group
- Go to Popular topics in Group posts and click ‘Weekend Workshop’ to tag your post
- Share a link to your track in a post in the group
- That’s it!
The competition closes at 11:59BST Thursday 4 June. A winner will be selected at random and announced on Friday 5 June.

Competition rules
- One entry per person.
- Competition is open from Friday 29 May 18:00 BST to Thursday 4 June 23:59 BST. All entries must be submitted in this time frame.
- Entries must also be created within the above timeframe.
- Employees of BandLab Technologies, Audio-Technica, and their immediate families will not be considered.
- No cash alternative to the prize is available.
- MusicTech reserves the right to change the prize offered.
- The judges’ decision is final. Don’t try and fight the case.
