Puncher 2 Lite is a free compressor and transient shaper from W.A Production
The slimmed-down version of Puncher 2 gives your sounds a powerful thwack
W.A Production’s Puncher 2 Lite is a free multiband compressor, transient shaper and multi-effects plug-in. As the streamlined version of Puncher 2, it features just three main dials, which define the amount of processing, plus a dial for gain.
The Transients dial adjusts how much transient shaping is happening within Puncher 2 Lite. This can be a useful tool the make the impacts of your kick drum more pronounced and to create snappier snares. There are five steps to Transients, ranging from 0 to 100.

Multiband will set the amount of multiband compression applied to your audio, separating it into four bands, creating a linear phase multiband split. W.A Production says that you’ll get an analogue-style effect from Multiband thanks to each frequency band having its own compressor.
Parallel gives you parallel compression in one dial, bringing a revered production technique in an easy-to-use form factor. This can be set from 0 to 100 in increments of 25.
A visual waveform display sits at the centre of Puncher 2 Lite, giving you realtime feedback on how your audio is being effected. A meter display lets you know if you’re output is too hot, with the gain dial sat below to attenuate anything over the limit.
You can save and load presets in W.A Production’s free plug-in, making it easy to recall your favourite settings.
