Traktor DJ for iPad/iPhone Free on App Store

We were surprised to see that Native Instruments highly intuitive and must-have DJ app for iPad and iPhone – Traktor DJ – is now available for free from the App store.

Many other moderately priced popular apps have also been made available for free and speculation implies that this is to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the App store, however we are still waiting on official word from Apple and Native Instruments as to how long this free offer will run for and what it’s in aid of.

As previously reported the Z1 controller for Native’s DJ software and app range was released last week and perhaps this offer relates to this as well, we’ll update this post with the official word when we have it

UPDATE: As speculated the offer is in celebration of 5 years of the App Store, and will run for a ‘limited time’
