Superbooth 2022 dates announced with guitar-focused sister festival SooperGrail
The all-new SooperGrail will be held a week prior to Superbooth
Fear not, modular will remain the core focus of Superbooth.
Following the eventual success of this year’s postponed Superbooth, the organisers have keenly announced dates for Superbooth 2022. Along with the announcement is the unveiling of SooperGrail, a guitar-focused festival that will be held a week before Superbooth 2022.
Superbooth 2022 will be held at the FEZ in Berlin, Germany, on the 12-14 May 2022. Soopergrail will take place from 6-8 May.
Superbooth 2021 was smaller than the previous conventions, due to COVID-19 restrictions, touted as a “Safety First Edition” of Superbooth. Organisers confronted the challenging circumstances by setting up booths and tents on the outside grounds of the FEZ, allowing for increased social distancing.
On the Superbooth website, the organisers said: “Our wonderful little journey is over for 2021. 4 days packed with moments of pure joy, passion and excitement. We hope everyone had a good time exchanging with colleagues, friends and making lots of new contacts.”
“We tried to introduce a new concept of a trade fair combined with the festival, which is more relaxed and spacious with all of its benefits and with a strong focus on the quality of the experiences and encounters. It was a very special edition this time, which was expected after this long break of more than two years, but probably the situation connected us even closer?”
There is scarce information on SooperGrail and what exactly it entails. However, it’s likely that the festival will embrace boutique pedal makers and guitar manufacturers.
