British sampling expert Spitfire Audio has announced its annual Black Weekend sale, offering huge savings across its expansive catalogue of premium virtual instruments. Running from 25-30 November, the Black Weekend will also be your only chance to access two exclusive collections: The Ton, and The Black Weekend Collection.

On top of this, Spitfire Audio is releasing Aperture: The Stack, a record-breaking wall of sound comprising 56 guitar amps, four subs and an unbelievable selection of vintage synths and modern classics, drum machines, a eurorack wall and guitars.

Spitfire’s Black Weekend sale will feature savings of up to 40 per cent on various individual products and up to 80 per cent with Collections.

The Ton, available for £100/$100/€100, packs in seriously impressive titles, including Ólafur Arnalds Evolutions, North 7 Vintage Keys and BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover. The collection saves you a whopping 80 per cent off the RRP.

Meanwhile, The Black Weekend Collection saves you over 40 per cent on the star-studded lineup of Bernard Herrmann Composer Toolkit, Albion NEO and Alternative Solo Strings. You can grab this for £599/$699/€699. Elsewhere, you can save on instruments from Hans Zimmer, BBC Symphony Orchestra, and Abbey Road Studios, along with Spitfire’s Albion One.

Spitfire describes the Aperture: The Stack as “record-breaking levels of amplitude.” It’s no wonder – the collection comprises 56 guitar amps, four subs and a smorgasbord of vintage synths and modern classics, drum machines, Eurorack modules and guitars. Spitfire expertly recorded each instrument in the prestigious Lyndhurst Hall at AIR Studios.

The supreme 6.9GB library features an unprecedented collection of instruments. You’ll have access to eight Lyra-8s, Christian Henson’s $20,000 Colossus synth titan, Henson’s wall of modular gear, and beloved favourites such as Roland Junos, Jupiters, Moogs, Prophets, an 808, and an expert ensemble of bass and electric guitars led by Leo Abrahams.

Act fast on this one, as it’s free when you spend £299/$349/€349 during The Black Weekend. The library will then be available to purchase individually from the 1st December 2021 £199/€249/$249.

Finally, Spitfire Audio is hosting its annual Black Weekend Tombola, giving its community the chance to win every single Spitfire Audio Library and a whole host of other prizes. This will take place on Friday 26 November at 6 PM (GMT).
