sonible and Focusrite teamed up to create Balancer, a smart tool used to balance the sound of your audio tracks and it’s now available for free. sonible is also offering you the chance to win a free plug-in every day with Arcade Game. You’ll just need to get yourself on top of the high score leaderboard…
Balancer
Balancer is an easy-to-use audio effect plug-in aimed at “beginners, pros, and everyone in-between”, sonible says. The AI-enabled plug-in listens to your audio upon you clicking ‘Learn’ and gathers information on the few seconds of music it hears. Then, it recognises deficiencies in the frequency balance and automatically corrects them, with three modes to choose from and an Intensity bar.
You can adjust the frequencies to sound more Warm, Neutral or Bright, and select which instrument profile you want Balance to affect. “Choosing a suitable profile ensures a perfect adaptation of the analysis to the respective input signal”, according to sonible. To get your hands on Balance, you’ll just need to head to sonible’s site and enter your e-mail address to receive the download link and authorisation key.

Arcade Game is available on the sonible site, and is essentially a variation of the infamous iOS game Flappy Bird. If you’re able to get the highest score of the day by midnight UTC, you can win a different plug-in each day. You’ll just need to enter your e-mail address here, too, to get the link if you win. The game isn’t all that hard, but today’s top score is already reaching beyond 28,000, so you’ll need to set aside some time to win!
