Slate Digital drops six free sample packs and two free plug-ins, including the FG-2A

Slate Digital Black Friday

Have you found yourself a Black Friday deal yet? You may want to check Slate Digital’s offerings before you decide on your next purchase. The brand is hosting its biggest Black Friday sale ever, giving away two plug-ins, six free sample packs and big savings on its range of microphones and its Virtual Recording Studio package.

Slate Digital’s Fresh Air is a brand new dynamic high-end processor which can add excitement to your instruments and mixes. Claiming your copy is easy; you just need to sign in to your iLok account (free to register), download the plug-in and activate it within your DAW. The software developer’s LA-2A emulation, the FG-2A, is touted as the world’s most authentic recreation yet. This is also free, but you’ll need a Slate Digital Access All Areas subscription to access it. Fortunately, this starts at just $10 a month and gives you over $5,000 worth of plug-ins, plus pro demo sessions and tutorials in a range of genres.

Six royalty-free sample packs are available free-of-charge, too. Slate Digital’s new Hip-Hop & EDM packs, 808 Collection & Vintage drum volumes and all of its other custom sample packs are yours for free until 1 January 2021.

The award-winning ML-1 mic from Slate Digital has been reduced by $300, making it available for $499 until 4 December. It comes with eight vintage mic emulations, giving you a flavour of some of the most revered mics of all time. There are also two exclusive mic packs available for $99 each, including world-famous mics in the Blackbird Studio bundle and legendary model from post-war Germany and Japan in Classic Tubes 3.

Slate Digital’s Virtual Recording Studio is available with a discount of $400, too, now available for $1599 until 1 January 2021. The VRS8 Audio Interface comes bundled with the ML-1 mic, a full year of the All Access Pass and eight vintage mic emulations, as used by Sting, Demi Lovato, Snoop Dogg and more.

Finally, Slate Digital is cutting the price tag of its Virtual Tape Machines plug-in, bringing it down to $49 until 1 January 2021, along with the Virtual Console Collection, also $49.
