sE Electronics NEOM USB

With its latest launch, the NEOM USB, sE Electronics has created a microphone that is compatible across iOS, macOS, Windows and Android devices. The brand aims to enable professional recording on the go with NEOM USB’s crystal-clear audio capturing and compact design.

The NEOM USB is designed for all types of recording artists, be they musicians, vloggers or podcasters. With its plug-and-play design, sE touts the microphone as an ideal solution for those on the move, with an ease-of-use factor that provides pro-sounding audio regardless of the surroundings.

Ensuring an impressive quality of sound, the microphone is capable of recording at up to 24-bit/192kHz.

Boasting a cardioid polar response pattern and a 16mm capsule, the NEOM USB picks up more of the sound you desire and deflects unwanted background noise. This allows creators to capture high-quality ideas the moment they hit.

The USB port is situated at the base of the microphone, while the rear panel houses a mini-jack output for headphone monitoring. In addition, the front of the device is kept minimalist, with a trio of knobs allowing users complete control over the microphone gain and playback level, minimising any issues adjusting headphone levels.

NEOM USB provides the “lowest latency in its class”, according to sE Electronics, and offers zero-latency headphone monitoring unlike others in the field.

Connecting through USB-C, the microphone comes equipped with a metal desktop stand, a mic clip and thread adaptor and a USB cable. For lower latency when using Windows, an ASIO driver is also available.

sE says that the NEOM USB is a perfect microphone for “capturing transparency during fast-paced livestreams and recording sessions.”

The sE NEOM USB is available now for $249. Find out more at sE Electronics.
