Remix a Marina & The Kats song and win Lewitt microphones
Grab one of nine prizes in the #LewittMusicChallenge
Austrian mic manufacturer, Lewitt Audio, has teamed up with neo-swing group Marina & The Kats to kickstart a competition that encourages you to get creative to win yourself some a new mic.
Marina & The Kats have shared an exclusive version of their hit song Dirty, recorded in Lewitt’s HQ recording studio. The project file contains 28 audio tracks and a video track which you can mix or remix, record a cover, play along with it, or push the boundaries of your creativity and do something entirely different.
Once you’ve made your creation, upload your version of the track to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Soundcloud, or TikTok with the tag #LewittMusicChallenge and #LewittDirty. You can also simply submit a link to your mix on Lewitt’s website.
Lewitt has published a How-To-Mix video for beginner mixers with Samuel Ray-Penndy Attuah, the band’s engineer. He sits down with Lewitt product manager Gabriel Angerstein to discuss the plug-ins and audio tracks, explaining how he mixed his version of Dirty.
