Euromix

Euromix is a new audio engineering, mastering and mixdown service from electronic producers Patrick Siech and Per Hammar. Aimed specifically at club music, Euromix is designed for house and techno producers who need a hand in adding the final touches to their track, ready to send to a label and ready for the dancefloor.

With two different setups, techniques and studios in Malmö and Berlin, the duo’s production techniques are said to “include unorthodox methods and gear to achieve more interesting results that stand out”. The projects will be processed through the sound of both studios and get tested on a club-standard PA system, for realistic referencing.

Upon request, Euromix will also be offering producers one-on-one mixdown and engineering sessions in either of the Berlin and Malmö studios, for those producers looking for more of a tutorial style service.

Patrick and Per have been developing their mixing techniques for over 15 years, with a career that has seen them play their music out on a weekly basis in dancefloors across the globe. Their work has been released on techno labels such as Drumcode, Semantica and Parabel, as well as on house labels, including 10YEARS, De Vloer and Per Hammar’s own Dirty Hands.

Euromix

Per Hammar says of the project: “Even though Patrick and I worked very closely together for over a decade, we never really had an mutual official project together. We built the studio together, maintained it, and continuously exchanged knowledge. Meanwhile, we spent time on our individual careers, and that made us develop skills in different places. Also, things like which gear to use, and how to use it differs a lot between us. That’s why I think that Euromix will be a unique and useful tool for new producers, since our toolbox is a wide and powerful one.”
