NAMM 2020: Numark unveils DJ2GO2 Touch, a portable mini DJ controller with touch capacity
With performance improvements on the original DJ2GO2, the mini controller is amazingly convenient.
NAMM 2020: Numark announces the DJ2GO2 Touch, featuring music streaming capability and touch-capacitive jog wheels.
Numark’s original DJ2GO2 was one of the smallest DJ controllers on the planet. Featuring two jog wheels and a dedicated sound card with ⅛-inch master output, you could carry the lightweight device around with you and hook it up easily to a laptop to get started with Serato, whether you are a beginner or experienced DJ.
The Numark DJ2GO2 Touch builds on this concept, with enhanced performance features to continue to provide a portable controller for beginner and professional mobile DJs. Its two jog wheels are touch-capacitive for scratch DJs to take advantage of, and the neighbouring buttons can be used for performing hot cues, looping and sampler effects.
Stepping way into the 21st century, DJ2GO2 Touch features music streaming capability with TIDAL and SoundCloud, included in the accompanied Serato DJ Lite software. For a controller this small to offer such an advanced playback option, this could set the DJ2GO2 Touch apart from any other control in its price bracket. No doubt many mobile DJs will be turning their heads towards this nifty bit of kit, which could be a go-to for a simple house party or another tool to add to the arsenal of a professional DJ.
“Our DJ2GO2 Touch is pure DJ fun in an amazingly convenient, grab-and-go size,” said Chris Roman, Senior Product Manager for Numark. “You can do almost everything you can do on a full-size controller with the DJ2GO2 Touch, and even beginner DJs will want to get in on the action! With its touch-capacitive jog wheels, Serato DJ Lite and compatibility with other DJ software, every DJ—from bedroom to mobile—will find the DJ2GO2 Touch a fun and useful DJ tool.”
Numark DJ2GO2 Touch is available now at a price of £70. Find out more at Numark.com
