NAMM 2020: Spitfire Audio has announced Albion Neo, an expansion of its bestselling collection of sample libraries and virtual instruments centred on modern cinematics.

At the heart of this new collection is a “chamber-sized orchestra” with an intimate string section, captured in The Hall at AIR Studios. Recognising the cultural shift in film scoring and composition, Spitfire Audio has released this collection with the modern composer and musician in mind.

Stephenson’s Steam Band

Another highlight of this collection is Stephenson’s Steam Band, a collection of modern, cinematic, hybrid synth pads and textures housed within Spitfire Audio’s dynamic eDNA engine. It features a vast steam synth, built from NEO recordings and a collection of Christian Henson’s rare vintage synths. It has 108 unique curated presets, treated and manipulated by Henson as well as Spitfire producer Harry Wilson.

Other collections included in Albion Neo are Segla Textures and Brunel Loops. Both of these feature evolving, hypnotic textures and loops.
