Evo by Audient Evo 4 and Evo 8

NAMM 2020: Audient has launched its new Evo by Audient brand at the Winter NAMM show. The new moniker is attached to a range of audio interfaces tailored to the needs of home recording musicians, podcasters and gamers who do live streaming.

As well as being remarkably affordable, the new interfaces provide a function called Smartgain that listens to incoming audio and automatically sets the input gain. The included driver also permits loopback of system audio into your DAW, which is ideal for gaming and podcasting.

The interfaces are made from rugged injection-moulded plastic and come in two sizes. Evo 4 has two mic/line combo inputs with phantom power, a JFET DI, stereo out and a headphone out. The Evo 8 meanwhile has four mic/line ins, four line outputs and twin headphone outs.

The Evo 4 costs £99 and will be coming this quarter, while the Evo 8 cost £159.99 will be available by the end of June. For more information visit audient.com
